Shovelgloving

As you may or may not know, this summer I decided to finally get into shape. I did really well, too. I lost about 30lbs (still have more to go...) kicked a horrible caffeine habit, and worked-out five days a week. And then we went on vacation. Then had house guests. And finally spent three weeks in Ohio.

Walking to the gym in 30 degree - or lower - weather isn't on the top of my list of fun things to do this winter, so I was on the lookout for something to do at home. I did not want to spend the money or space on a huge piece of equipment, either. That is when I found Shovelglove: The Sledgehammer Workout

Laugh it up, people! I know I did the first time I saw it. Lemme tell you, though, it works. I haven't been doing it for long, but when I use it, it feels like the same workout I got on the elliptical. (If that makes sense.)

Of course, it is me so I had to make it all my own. The pig was an old stuffed animal we had hanging around the house, but I thought it would serve as a nice reminder of why I am doing something so absurd.
